A very short post

I am expecting a very small hiatus this month, mostly because I am planning on using up whatever I have in my pantry before moving. Yes, we are moving my kitchen to a new place P and I found that is lovely and big - the kitchen however is not vast but strategically build with all the proper equipments and space. And we are finally, hopefully, expecting a new family member this mid-November.

No, I'm not pregnant, silly! We are expecting a four-legged friend! :)

P and I have always wanted a dog to be a part of our family and we are both excited at being new parents to a Bernese Mountain puppy!

We are not sure if it's going to be a male or a female yet, but regardless, I am pretty sure we will love it just the same. We will know for sure about the puppy by the end of September *crosses fingers*

I am excited at the prospect of making doggy treats. :)

Congrats!
That is going to be a big puppy!
I always wanted a Bernese but I went with a small breed.
Can't wait to hear about your headaches and joy of the new arrival =)

That's awesome! What an adorable puppy. He's going to grow up to be quite big, but big dogs are so much fun.

I love baking cookies just for my dog. She knows when I'm making them and sits in the kitchen and waits. :)

BookishPenguin: Yes, it's going to be a BIG dog. I can't wait to hug it like a bolster when I go sleep. You have to share those doggy cookies recipe with me someday. :)

Hey congrats Elaine.
Having a dog is a good decision. Speaking from my experience of having 2 male dogs, I think a female one will be easier to handle. Do share when you have recipe for doggie treat!

Elsie: Thanks :) I have two female dogs back in Msia, you're right. They're calmer. But I'll be fine with a male too ;)

Hey,a male dog would be better bcos you guys are keeping it inside your home. An adult female dog would give you lots of work esp when they are on heat. Male more active and mischievious.
